I had a great day creating with the Hydraulic press yesterday. Here are two anticlastic formed wave bracelets, one in NuGold (red brass) and one in Nickle Silver. The textures were created on the rolling mill first, then cut and formed.

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone! I thought I'd share a little corner of my world today - "the studio" - were all creations are born. After moving the larger cabinet out, my jeweler's bench fits perfectly into my work space (vs. it being in another corner covered in STUFF). The height makes it more ergonomically correct for sawing with less aches and pains on the old body. I need a catch apron so all the filings get caught instead of landing on the floor. I often get asked if I teach and now that I'll have a little more free space in the studio, I'll be able to offer classes in the near future.

Here I am once again revamping my studio. I posted the great hammer holder my DH made so I could hang my hammers on the inside of my workbench doors. Well the work bench is moving into the new space "My Little Shop of Metals" (another room). It was getting crowded in here. So what's a gal to do with all her treasured hammers? Why not use the shelf I found at one of my favorite boutiques - the local garage sale. I didn't know what I'd use it for but had to have it for $10. Well $8 as I got something else thrown in. It works amazingly well for all my hammers and mandrels.
