Enameled Calla Lily Earrings

It's funny how you can start in one direction and end up in a totally different one. I sketched out a design and cut it out of sheet metal to make a pair of earrings.   As I was playing with the metal, it wanted to go in it's own direction. I added enamel and WOW - the color possibilities are amazing. Combined with sterling silver, it's a beautiful garden dangling from your earlobes.   I think they are just stunning. $75.00 each pair Orange - SOLD

Art in the Vines

There was a great turnout at Township 7 Vineyard and Winery's "Art in the Vines" Event on Sunday. All the vendors donated a gift to be raffled for the benefit of Osteoporosis of Canada Society. I was so grateful that the lady who chose my donation of "Enameled Copper Lily" earrings came to my booth to let me know she was so happy to have received them. My display is constantly evolving with each event and I'm learning "less is more".  I like how it turned out and have a few more tweaks in mind for the next show in 4 weeks.  It's good to change it up so it doesn't become stale or predictable. The same goes for my jewelry and introducing new designs keeps it fresh and new.  I hadn't enameled for awhile and this past month or so I've been drawn back to them.  Oh La La - the colors are amazing, and just in time for the summer. Here are a few pictures of my setup. My new banner ads a nice touch to the booth. Less is more....
