I have visions of one day being really organized. You know a place for everything and everything in its place. In addition to revamping one part of my studio, there it the other side. In particular, my jewelers bench. It's a second hand handmade bench from Craigslist and I'm ever so grateful to have it, but with only one shelf its just not functioning well. Railroad Tracks make great anvils and my DH, while out on one of his gold panning adventures (his new hobby this year), found a long piece of railroad track. Being the thoughtful man that he is, he dragged it back to the vehicle and brought it home. After running around everywhere, he found a place to cut it into pieces, which I then offered up for sale. They were grabbed very quickly. On a more recent outing, my DH found yet another piece which will be cut in the next week. I already have a list of interested parties if I can fit it into a USPS Flat Rate Box ($12.35 US) to ship. A young man dropped by the other day for an 8" piece and he was getting into black-smithing. I mentioned I had a 12" piece and he quickly upgraded. I can't wait to use mine but am stuck in the office doing taxes for the next week. GRRRR. Much prefer to be in my studio.
