Off to bed to be fresh and ready for tomorrow at Township 7 Vineyards and Winery ♥Art in the Vines♥ which benefits Osteoporosis Canada with experts on site. Enjoy sampling, music, prizes and 25 local artisans. Runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Townshiop 7 Winery. All the vendors donation something to be raffled off which helps raise money for Osteoporosis Canada. I woke up way too early today which made it a really long day. I met a few friends for a nice lunch at The Cactus Club and had the amazing Bandara Salad, which just happends to be my all time favorite. PUT IT OUT THERE It's interesting how things work sometimes. I've been wishing for a kiln for awhile now but it's currently out of my budget. By chance someone contaced me about a used Carbolite lab furnace they had. Long story short and with the help of a firend doing the required wiring, I finished setting it up and getting the tools needed to try it out yesterday. I'm doing the Happy Dance as it seems to be working as I'd hoped. I'm on a bit of a learning curve as I normally use a torch for enamel but I'm sure I'll figure it all out. It was a long hot day in the studio getting everything ready for tomorrow. When it's this hot, wearing a mask while enameling is not very comfortable. After looking at all the great colors I got, it was worth it. I'm off to bed so I'm nice and refreshed for Langley Arts Alive in the morning.
