Sunday at Kellies Beads

A friend and I went to Kellies Beads today for a preview the new treasures she brought back from the 2014 Tucson Bead Show.   I just finished sorting and pricing my new stash so when I'm ready to create something, I'll have all the info at my fingertips and no guess work involved.  (Why didn't I do that with all my beads :-) Kellie was saying how surprised she was at how much the cost of beads has gone up this year.  It's noticeable at the checkout but when you get a little discount on special events, it helps.  Thanks Kellie. Anyway, without further ado, take a look at my new stash.  Mostly agates and jaspers  Agate Maybe add a little hematite  Nice green in the pink focal Front Side of focal Back side of focal

How To Keep Jewelry Clean and Protected Know how to use the best tools and methods to keep your jewelry clean and looking its best.  Clean your jewelry using methods suited to the metal. Sunshine® Cloths are a great choice for a variety of metals.  Every metal except pure gold and platinum will eventually tarnish. Slow the buildup of this annoying residue with 3M anti-tarnish strips and tabs. Place the strips in trays or in cases beside your jewelry to absorb the moisture and sulfurs that cause tarnish. Sunshine ® Polishing Cloths  are non-staining and easy-to-use cloths to remove tarnish from sterling silver, gold, brass, copper, glass, mirrors and most other surfaces, leaving a deep, long-lasting luster. To use:  Be sure the item to be cleaned is free from dust and other abrasives. Then very gently rub the surface to be polished. Each cloth is impregnated with special chemical cleansing agents and non-scratching micro-abrasives.  Available here Polishing Pro Pads are also
