What better way is there to bond with your husband than to go to a Rock & Gem show. Came home with a small stash of polished stones to play with. Found a few pretty heart shaped carnelian stones that I just had to have. Bracelet? Pendant? We'll see. Bought 3 nice quartz crystal daggers and I know exactly what they are going to be. Digital photos are the best and I think we all take multiple pics of each item so we can hopefully get that PERFECT photo. I'm now trying to reel it all in and set up a folder system to help keep track of what's what and where it is. If anyone has mastered their collections, please feel free to share. Paper Mache Displays work better when they are weighted down!   Let me show you how. I've never liked the velvet displays as they are hard to pack and show up lint, especially when photographing jewelry on them.  During my search for something better, I came across these macrame bust displays which are a heck of a lot better to pack for shows.  The nestle into each other tightly vs. being so bulky.  The only drawback was that they were light and could easily topple over.  My dear husband (DH) came up with a way to weight them down and I've been using them for over a year now and they work perfectly (for me anyway). Here's a quick video on weighing them down.
