Copper Ring

SOLDERING
After taking a spinner ring class, I decided it was time to try another one.  When I was at the stage to flare the ring for the spinners, I realized the ring was too wide for my fingers, so I decided to fold the copper all the way over.

The solder joint wasn't soldered very well and it split a little which is OK as it goes with the funky design.

One of the Fist rule in soldering - "Solder doesn't fill gaps"

I have a way to go in my journey learning how to solder.

The ring is made with copper sheet metal.
It's been textured using a variety of hammers,
then folded over.  Sterling Silver and brass embellishments have been added.
