Jewelry Junkies of the Fraser Valley 2013 Bead Challange

Jewelry Junkies of the Fraser Valley
2013 Bead Challenge

Today was the "Big Reveal" for the 2nd Annual Bead Challenge
Everyone did a fabulous job.

Everyone stepped up to the challenge to incorporate the Frozen Charlotte Dolls (FCD) into their designs.

Here are a few pics of some of the entries.
(Some entries had several pieces made from the beads in the kit)

FIRST PLACE WINNER
I was surprised (but happy) to win 1st Place as the entries were all so fabulous.

This piece is inspired by Diana Frey.
I've been wanting to make it for a few years now and
loved how I could bury the large FCD into the wire and beads.

I created a few wire beads using annealed steel wire and love the effect.
The two baby FCD's are caged and were rubbed with a light touch of blue & silver color.
A faceted heart dangles from the bottom.

SECOND PLACE WINNER
"KAREN"

 THIRD PLACE WINNER
"LOIS"
